Social video marketing is designed to get hold of the mass traffic passing around the internet each day and send that traffic to your site, with the sole purpose to increase sales. It is a clever marketing technique and an astute investment.

But what people don't often realise is that no matter how good the video is, you cannot simply load a video online and expect it to work for you.

Time and time again we see companies offering viral videos, with no syndication strategy or a clue about how to go about this. Your strategy should include your target demographic, access points to reach that demographic, strategies to get the video seen in press (local, regional, national, global), strategies to get the video picked up on other popular sites and push it forward etc etc.

Without these strategies in place, social video marketing will fail. With these strategies in place, you can literally be an overnight success.
